The businessman shared her story via a Facbook post, in which he describes her terrible living conditions.
The single mother lives with her daughter and brother.
Unfortunately, the roof of her house in Mamelodi West was destroyed due to gale force winds.
Lillian and her family have been forced to live without a roof for three years due to unemployment.
They’ve been utilising a tent as cover in the interim, but images reveal how susceptible it is to the elements.
The trying living conditions struck a chord with Mashawana and he vowed to assist.
In a rousing Facebook post, the entrepreneur called on South Africans to be counted and promised to change their lives within the next two weeks.
Mashawana is known for his philanthropic work as his organisation have built numerous homes for those living in poverty.
