Brighton Elliot Moyo, the Zimbabwean man who was allegedly resurrected from the dead by Pastor Alph Lukau, has reportedly passed away for a second time.
On Monday, several Zimbabwean news publications reported that Elliot has died and the news nearly broke the internet.
The Citizen reported Malawi24, iHarare.com, ZwNews.com, Bulawayo24 News and Zimbabwe News, to name only a few, claimed the infamous 'resurrected' man passed away last week in Mzansi and he was alleged buried over the weekend.
The news shocked South Africans and other African nationals, who flooded social media with their two cents' worth on the alleged death of Elliot.
Nupe boi, who goes by the Twitter handle @someboiz_, commented: "Well, since Lazarus didn't eat his own burial rice, we can't say exactly where Elliot's complication came from..."
Shilly Monareng, @ShillyLets, added: "May he rise again and eat again."
Ralintsi Tlaitlai, @mhoek24, wrote: "Where is Lukau when we need him."
In February, Briefly.co.za reported a video went viral which showed Pastor Lukau allegedly resurrecting a deceased man in front of his congregation.
The video received a lot of backlash from South Africans who accused the religious leader of staging the so-called miracle - the clip even sparked a challenge where people across the world re-enacted Lukau's resurrection.
