Boy abandoned, branded witch by village represents school in 100m race

Recently, the internet shared the story of a young boy who was supposedly abandoned, stigmatised and branded a witch by his community in Akwa Ibom. Two years after his rescue by a Danish worker, transformation photos of little Hope were spotted and everyone had to agree that he looked way better than how he was first met.

Well, it would seem the little boy whose hope was renewed by Anja Ringgren Loven, the Danish worker in question, seems to be flourishing and soaring with each passing day.

Recently, the dedicated worker took to sharing photos of the young lad looking all dapper in crisp, neat and dignified sportswear.

Briefly.co.za learnt that she went on to announce that this boy who had been stigmatised and abandoned by everyone else in the past is going on to become accepted in respectable spheres.

According to her, Hope's school is organising an inter-house sport and he has been selected to represent one of the teams in the 100-metre race.

"From being branded a witch, abandoned, rejected and stigmatised to representing his school in the 100-metre race. Today, Hope is taking part in his school's Inter-House Sport Festival and of course he will be representing his team in the 100-metre race. See my little nugget, he’s got swag."
