Mzansi' hip hop legend, AKA, has landed yet another wonderful business deal with the local distributor of WWE-branded treats.
We believe picking AKA as a business partner was not rocket science for Chilewe Brands Global as everyone knows what a huge wrestling fan he is. AKA even carries his own personalised belt that he takes around to clubs.
Mike Chilelwe Jnr took to social media, Twitter to be exact, to announce AKA as Chilewe Brands Global's new business partner and brand and marketing guru.
According to TshisaLive, the company makes chips with snaps of WWE stars on the packets and will handle the distribution and production while AKA will work his magic in marketing them.
AKA signed the deal in which he has a stake in the company, which serves both here and across the continent.
The Supa Mega told CNBC that he was excited about the opportunity and believes the partnership is a perfect match.
"I'm a big wrestling fan and it's always been a big part of my childhood. So when a opportunity like this came around I really jumped at it."
For some, a chips snack might not be a big deal, but Chilewe Jnr believes that people who are crazy enough to change the world are usually the ones who actually do. Check out his second tweet below:
Meanwhile, yesterday Briefly.co.za reported that AKA and Cassper Nyovest were on the Twitter trending list after American superstar, Diddy, shared a watermelon emoji. That may sound really silly, but it happened, and Briefly.co.za found the proof in tweets.
Diddy meant the emoji to be a teaser for an upcoming Ciroc vodka flavour, but it couldn't be left at that, not when the mention of this particular fruit will cause waves in the Mzansi Twitter streets.
It's all because AKA has his own brand of vodka, Cruz, in watermelon flavour, and Cassper is a Ciroc ambassador - this can't be overlooked by fans.
