Following on from Friday's episode of Generations: The Legacy, it looks like Smanga might have taken the bait to merge Vote with NIP, but not for the reasons that both Jack and Nkaba think. Meanwhile, Sphe and Mazwai's plans to hire a detective during the money hand-over fails.
So while Jack and Nkaba think up ways to try and get Smanga to merge Vote with NIP, it looks like Smanga's uncle, Kabisi, unknowingly may have given him the nudge by saying that he doesn't believe Smanga could handle national politics.
But it was also social media's positive comments that solidified his decision. Obviously Jack and Nkaba's plan to hire trolls to stroke Smanga's ego on social media paid off.
Mzansi viewers are quite happy with the idea of having #SmangaForPresident. Take a look at some of the comments below.
One viewer criticised the scriptwriter for thinking their soapie is a true reflection of SA politics, while others thought that Lerato could be falling for her boss.
On the other hand, Gog'Zondiwe was really upset for Tau for giving Ayanda some space. Zondiwe wanted to invite the lovely Ayanda over for supper but Tau burst her bubble by saying that he decided to give her some space. It's obvious that Gog'Zondiwe is really fond of Ayanda and wants her to be her daughter-in-law.
After Lucy convinced Zitha to take Sphe along with her to visit Wandi in prison, they do and soon realise how much Wandi has given up hope. Meanwhile, the fiesty criminal mind in jail, Luthando, was eavesdropping on their conversation and we wonder what crazy plan she'll cook up next for poor Wandi.
Mazwai's plan to play it safe and to find out who the blackmailers are blew up in his face. Not only did they lose the large sum of money, they also lost the trail in finding out who the blackmailers are.
Sphe is beside herself but Mazwai, being the kind man he is, promises to help get Sphe out of this trouble.
Check out what some of the viewers had to say:
Finally, Zitha learnt about Jack blackmailing his own daughter, Sphe, and confronted him. Zitha told him straight that there's more to him getting into Moroka's good books, he really cares for Sphe and wants to win her love back too, but is too damn proud to admit it.
