Being a celebrity comes with the loss of a lot of things - privacy being the biggest one. It's common knowledge that celebs have their privacy invaded, but at some point there has to be a line that people don't cross.

It seems that this line was crossed for local celeb, Anele Mdoda.

She took to social media to ask her fans to please keep their hands to themselves, as reported on by ZAlebs.

We can imagine that a surprise ambush by an over-eager fan could be quite uncomfortable.

Anele shared that her fan didn't understand why it left her unhappy to be hugged suddenly like that.

She went on to discuss the issue that admirers should respect personal boundaries, including the boundaries of celebs.

Briefly.co.za learnt from Anele's tweets that she was called a rude celeb because she didn't like the unexpected hug.
