A 40-year old man is suing his own parents for allegedly disposing thousands of Rands worth of adult content which he had gathered over a few decades.

In a sensational lawsuit, the man wants his parents to compensating for damages after he moved out of his parents’ house.

According to reports from Independent, the said man moved out of his parents home in 2018 and 10 months on , he went back for some of his belongings.

Upon reviewing his items, he noted there were ‘crucial’ items missing – his vast collection of adult movies and sex toys.

Quite shockingly, the man had amassed up to 14 boxes which were stashed with adult tapes which had since disappeared in the hands of his parents.

A lawsuit filed in court indicated that the man , only identified as Charlie, was just from a bumpy divorce and had been living with his parents in Indiana where he offered them rent.

Months after moving out, he went back for the remainder of his personal effects and he made the disappointing discovery that his porn collection was no more.

The lawsuit further stated that his parents admitted to destroying the material.

An angry Charlie proceeded to the Sherriff’s office in Ottawa where he expressed his desire to sue his parents.

But according to the father, the material had to be destroyed for the sake of his own child.'

It is alleged Charlie had started to turn his addiction to porn into a 'small business' during his high school and college years.

"Believe it or not, one reason for why I destroyed your porn was for your own mental and emotional health, his father said. “I would have done the same if I had found a kilo of crack cocaine. Someday, I hope you will understand.” the dad's statement was quoted in the lawsuit
