Mzansi reacted to Daniel Marven's post on Monday which encouraged women to go through their boyfriends' phones.
On Monday, social media influencer, Daniel Marven, wrote that he felt sorry for ladies who did not go through their partners' cellphones.
According to Marven, men could plan a wedding to another lady without their girlfriend knowing a thing:
"I feel sorry for girls who don't go through their boyfriend's phone, a person will plan a wedding right under your nose."
The post sparked a massive response from male and female tweeps, who were mostly on opposite sides of the debate.
Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at five reactions from each gender. Here are our top picks.
Tony Cipriani, who goes by the Twitter handle @BrotherDumisani, begged Marven to stop putting ideas in their girlfriends' heads.
"Please don’t give them a reason to go through those phones," Cipriani wrote.
There were a couple of ladies who came forward, claiming they went through the scenario in Marven's tweet or know of someone who experienced that pain.
Nomhle Sambo, who goes by the Twitter handle @nsambocca, commented: "It happened to my ex colleague. She was shattered."
Another tweep, @Kuye53162143, added: "It happened to my sister's friend, she was living with the boyfriend for 12 years with two kids. The boyfriend paid lobola without her knowing."
