President Cyril Ramaphosa recently visited Seshego, an Economic Freedom Fighter stronghold, recenly and held an ANC rally where he was well-received. However, Jossey Buthane is adamant that the ANC had brought attendants from elsewhere to bolster appearances.
President Cyril Ramaphosa held an ANC rally in Seshego, Limpopo a place well known as the stronghold of Julius Malema.
Briefly.co.za reported that Ramaphosa had been surprisingly well-received by the hundreds, most donning ANC shirts.
EFF Limpopo provincial leader, Jossey Buthane, however, is not sold on the support the ruling party received in their own backyard.
Buthane insists that the ANC had brought attendants in by bus from other areas, and that the huge crowd the rally had drawn was misleading.
Speaking to Eyewitness News, Buthane is adamant that the crowds seen supporting President Cyril Ramaphosa were not a true representation of the ruling party's support in the area.
