DJ Sbu thought he was being entertaining when he penned a note to his future wife, telling her she will be marrying a billionaire. However, not everyone is impressed with him, and feel he's 'luring' women with money.
DJ Sbu earlier shared a note to his future wife on social media. In the tweet, he said he has many questions about his future special lady, but added that he knows one thing - she'll be marrying a billionaire.
Perhaps the entrepreneur and DJ thought he was being cute, but Briefly.co.za's readers were not very impressed with him.
In fact, many felt that Sbu was using his money to try and 'lure' the ladies.
Taking to Facebook, South Africans shared what they thought of Sbu's little message to his wife-to-be.
Petra Blake Mooiman - If this is what you base your relationship on, it will be a total failure. Only TWO things make happy marriage. Love and respect for each other.
Mzwakhe Nhlapo - Money can't buy you anything bruh, especially love.
Thulile Mgudlwa - You just needs to grow up not every woman is after money I think you're still not ready to settle down you just need to learn more first
Mxolisi Mfecane - A bit crass if you ask me..reducing women to that.
Khiba Mbuti - You don't make love or you are using ladies?stupid billionaire
It could be argued that only money-hungry women would be lured in, as they would see the word 'billionaire' and fall over themselves to get Sbu's attention.
As Facebook user, Keorapetse Siko, said: "They are after money."
DJ Sbu's message can be taken in many ways, but perhaps he will one day look back on it with his missus and find the whole thing funny.
