South Africans parties are going head-to-head in campaigns ahead of the 2019 national elections and a couple of ladies had the honour of meeting EFF leader Julius Malema.
Juju has been hard at work campaigning for the 2019 elections, rumours even suggested that he had been hospitalised.
However, CIC has been going strong and he made time to talk to ordinary South Africans. Photos of his visits to SA communities have since been posted on social media - and his presence was overwhelming for a couple of teary ladies.
Taking to Twitter on Wednesday, parody account Man's Not Barry Roux shared a couple of photos showing Malema embracing emotional ladies.
He captioned the photos: "When you finally meet the son of the soil."
South Africans were touched by the emotional images and some said people had hope in the EFF leader.
Social media user @phutimokgohloa wrote: "People have hope in CIC Malema."
Lucky Mbezi, who goes by the Twitter handle @lucky_mbezi, said: "I had a love hate relationship with CIC but now seeing how mature he is am only left with only love, pure love!"
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Malema opened up about the violent tendencies his party was known for in a radio interview.
Juju said he agreed with his wife that all men are trash but he tries to be a better man. The EFF leader then opened up about his deputy-president's violent behaviour, which he dubbed unacceptable.
