Mzansi comedian, Trevor Noah, took to social media to thank his fans for allowing him to reach another great milestone. He scored 1 million subscribers on YouTube.
Trevor Noah is on a roll this year. He has been ticking off his achievements from the start of the year.
According to Youth Village, Trevor bought a $20-million home in Bel-Air and was also honoured to share a bonding moment with Oprah Winfrey on his show recently. Trevor was also interviewed on Ellen DeGeneres' show as well. And now he shared more exciting news with his fans.
He wrote: "Just hit 1 Million subs on my Youtube! Thank you to everyone who subscribed. If you aren’t a subscriber please don’t try and accept this thank you. Unless however you go subscribe and come back. If that’s the case, thank you for letting me thank you."
Trevor's fans were also elated about the news and posted their congratulatory comments on his Twitter post. Take a look at the comments below:
Congratulations to Mzansi's national treasure. You make us proud.
Meanwhile two days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that it came as a shock when Trevor Noah revealed on The Ellen Show that he actually has no interest in ever interviewing Donald Trump, even though he often rips him on his show.
Trevor has been firing shots at Trump for some time now, and we can’t even blame him, Trump makes for easy material. The controversial US President practically walks around with a sign on his head that says, "Throw shade at me."
A short sneak peak of the episode was shared on Ellen’s social media and it showed Trevor expressing his reasons for no longer wanting to interview Trump. In the short clip, Trevor hilariously states that interviewing Trump would actually be a waste of time as he never really gives a straight answer for anything. Yusss, Trevor’s Trump impersonation was on point!
