Woman admits to being blackmailed over explicit photos, Mzansi reacts

A woman has taken to social media to share that her phone was stolen and the people who stole it are now blackmailing her. She revealed that they threatened to leak explicit photos of her on several platforms unless she pays them a certain amount of money.

The woman released a statement on social media asking for assistance on how to deal with the matter.

"There is someone out there that I don't know, who has been threatening to leak my nude pictures to the public and sell them. This is my statement. Please RT and advise me on what to do."

Social media users were very supportive of the young woman. Twitter user Rabs Gundula said:

"You have read the situation very well & taken a great decision on this matter and i guess you should involve police ASAP. You have literally disempowered them thugs by doing this."
