International superstar, Naomi Campbell, was in South Africa recently to attend the 5th yearly Condé Nast International (CNI) Luxury Conference, which focused on the value of Africa in the luxury and fashion industry.

Cape Town played host to the 5th Condé Nast International (CNI) Luxury Conference, where the focus was on the value of the African market in the international fashion and luxury industry.
Naomi Campbell, British model and superstar, was an honorary speaker at the conference, which took place in Cape Town on 12 April.

ZAlebs reported that the conference had a focus on African luxury and finding ways to give the African continent more recognition.

Briefly.co.za gathered that during her speech, Naomi said that Africa has been untapped for years.
!It’s not about looking at Africa as a trend now that’s a new place to discover. It’s always been untapped and you have to wonder to yourself or whatever companies you have why have you ignored Africa for this long?"
