Somizi’s family picnic disappoints Mzansi – Everyone is on their phones

- SA media personality, Somizi Mhlongo, recently shared clips of his Easter family braai

- The gathering looked fun, but Mzansi’s social media users had a big problem with the amount of people on their phones at the event

- Only one person was spotted not using a phone at the picnic

Easter long weekend is traditionally a time to enjoy the company of one’s family, which is what SA celeb, Somizi Mhlongo, planned to do at a picnic recently.

However, in one of the clips shared by Somizi, the mood seems to be somewhat dampened by the presence of cellphones.

Somizi shared a video of family members chilling with drinks on the lawn, all busy using their phones.

While many commended Somizi on the nostalgic and quaint kasi setting, Briefly.co.za found that the majority of social media users were shocked by how glued to their cellphones all the guests were.

The one exception to the anti-social crowd was Somizi’s fiancé, Mohale Motaung, whose politeness was noticed by many followers.
