What was supposed to be a holy holiday for Christians became a day of mourning and sorrow for people in Sri Lanka.
An attack was carried out in the South Asian country, leaving many people deceased.
According to Daily Mail, Denmark’s richest man, Anders Holch Povlsen, lost three of his four children in the horrible incident.
The ASOS owner was reportedly on Easter holiday with his four children. Only he and one of them survived. A spokesperson for Povlsen confirmed the deaths but did not reveal which children died in the attack, Daily Mail reports.
One of Povlsen’s children, Alma, had shared a photo of her siblings by the poolside just days before the devastating attack.
It was gathered that Sri Lankan officials have blamed the incident on a small Islamic group, National Thowheed Jamaath (NTJ).
According to reports, about seven terrorists targeted churches and hotels in Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday.
A total of 290 people are said to have lost their lives in the unfortunate accident.
