In a public statement, BLF leader Andile Mngxitama bragged that a doctor had joined the party.

He was referring to the newly-joined Sindisiwe Sindz Wase Kapa, who is not a medical doctor but a homeopath.

Mngxitama praised her as one of the "sharpest radical independent minds in SA".

On her Facebook page, Sindisiwe says that she joined the BLF in order to "destroy the system" and "challenge the Constitution". On her profile, she also claims that the Constitution - which enshrines equal rights for all - is biased against black South Africans.

Additionally, one of her Facebook posts claims that the Constitution, which is widely-hailed as the most progressive in the world, "enslaves and brutalises black humanity".

Mngxitama has described Sindisiwe's analysis as "brilliant" and lauded for being a critical thinker, according to The Citizen. He has even said that he hopes she continues to critique her new party as well.

Mngxitama described her as a "big-shot doctor", but homeopathy is an alternative medicine not usually endorsed by mainstream medical professionals. It is based on the belief that illnesses can be treated using small amounts of ingredients which produce similar symptoms.

The BLF added that they predicted that Sindisiwe would draw criticism, but said that they would be perturbed by any negative comments, Briefly.co.za has gathered.
