Zahara has been through a lot lately, but the award-winning singer says she's getting a lot of gigs and she's booked until December. This comes as Zahara started dealing with her bookings directly, rather than trusting her management.
But Zahara says things are looking up - she's got gigs booked until December.
The Daily Sun reported that Zahara started dealing with her bookings herself, and now she's getting more bookings.
"I’m booked until December. Imagine that!"
Apparently, Zahara's previous management wasn't doing what's best for her.
"People would call, wanting to book me, but were told I wasn’t available and the space would be given to other artists."
Briefly.co.za gathered that in some cases it happened that promoters paid for her to perform, but she was never informed about the gigs. She'd then get accused of bailing on events that she didn't even know about.
It came to light that things were strained between Zahara and her manager and business partner, Sanele Dlamini, after Sanele claimed the singer was looking for public sympathy.
He added that the star failed to manage her finances, which led her to her excessive drinking and seeking out bad company.
The singer has now started her own company with the help of Oyama Dyosiba, her cousin.
All this comes after Zahara claimed that her former label, TS Records, owes her millions of Rands.
That matter has not yet been resolved, as far as available information reveals.
