Bongekile Simelane (better known as Babes Wodumo), Thobeka Ndaba (aka artist Tipcee) and Babes' sister, Nondumiso Simelane, are set to make their appearance in the Durban Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday, 24 April.

According to TimesLIVE, the three women's last court date was 8 April, but then Babes and her sister were found guilty of contempt of court for missing their appearance. They blamed a late-night gig and car problems for their failure to pitch up in court.

Tipcee got off the hook because she could provide a doctor's note. However, this no-show resulted in the women having a warrant for their arrest being issued on 5 April.

This comes after a case was opened against the trio about a month ago, by a woman who claimed they had attacked her.
