Benny Mayengani doesn't let apparent failures keep him down. His recent show may not have gone according to plan, but the rest of his life is falling into place nicely. The musician has paid lobola and is smiling wide.
Musician Benny Mayengani suffered a bad loss when his #FillUpPeterMokabaStadium concert didn't work out quite as planned, but that's not stealing the joy from his heart at all.
Although he blames political sabotage for the failure of the event, he has other reasons to be happy and smiling.
Benny paid lobola on Good Friday, according to the Daily Sun.
Benny and his lovely fiancée, Cynthia Ngobeni, had a huge bridal traditional welcoming ceremony in his home village of Shawela village outside Limpopo.
"The lobola process was completed on Good Friday and it was already planned that on Easter Monday we will have a welcoming ceremony for her into my family."
Briefly.co.za gathered that the happy couple has been together for four years and their joy at getting married knows no bounds.
Benny said that what happened with his #FillUp did not affect his normal life.
"There was no way the ceremony could be cancelled due to what happened at Peter Mokaba Stadium. I had to carry on with life, it’s part of life and I am very glad that the welcoming ceremony went well."
Congratulations to the gorgeous couple! May their future hold only joy and love.
