Briefly.co.za posed a question to readers on what they would if they were the president of the country. Many seemed to agree that rooting out corruption and improving unemployment stats was on the top of the list.
Facebook user John Haupt said:
"Reshuffle cabinet, get rid of all suspect officials.. Convict those guilty of State Capture"
Another user named Zulaygah Van Wyk said that she would bring back the death penalty and provide proper housing.
Nduman Nduh said that he would nationalize the mines, farms and textile industries. He added that he would reform the education system and improve trade routes in Africa.
"I also feel it's necessary to have our own oil and nuclear plants. Government officials to be appointed by merit and not political affiliation. Minimise political parties to at least the top four and destroy the ANC propaganda once and for all"
Musa Ntika focused more on spiritual leadership, saying:
"I will certainly put God and Christianity in the position whereby everyone of us would know that without Jesus we are nothing in all that I would do"
