The message is clearly open to interpretation, but football supporters have assumed that it’s a farewell to Amakhosi fans.
SowetanLIVE reported that Chiefs striker, Bernard Parker, has urged Ekstein to reconsider leaving the South African super club.
The furore comes amid Ekstein enjoying an excellent spell with Chiefs.
It seems the midfielder is clearly in Coach Ernst Middendorp’s plans going forward.
