Last night was an extraordinary occasion for many artists at the South African Music Awards announced its nominees for the 25th awards ceremony.

It was a proud moment for all artists who bagged a nomination as one of the most recoginsed artists in the music industry, but none could have been prouder than Lerato Sengadi, when her late husband, HHP, was nominated for Best Hip Hop Album.

She took to her Instagram account with pride and joy and wrote: "‪I am soooo proud of you Motho Waka!! So so so proud!!! YOU did it! YOU! The GOAT! The KING!!! #SAMA25."

She also shared her excitement on Twitter and boasted how proud she is oh her husband and his achievement. Take a look at her tweet below.

Lerato is determined to keep her HHP’s spirit alive at all cost even though going through life without him hasn’t been easy for her. This nomination is the beginning of many things about Jabba Lerato plans to celebrate.

The KwaZulu-Natal and Eastern Cape provinces floods have affected many people, and South Africans watched in horror as the natural disaster wiped away personal belongings and left countless homeless. The number of lives lost during this terrible time is believed to be around 70, according to EWN.

Since then, many South Africans have started reaching out to those whose lives were affected. Celebs have given what they can, and Lerato Sengadi thought she could call on one more for help.
