Tears of joy: Photos show premier gifting emotional family a house

The Free State government handed over a new house to a family who grieved the loss of a loved one and it left Mzansi inspired.

Free State premier Ntombela was photographed handing a house over to the Lintoe family from Mangaung, Phase Seven.

Briefly.co.za gathered the family suffered the loss of a loved one at the hands of someone they knew and the ANC government in the Free State wanted to help the family.

"Consistent to her call to deliver on commitments to our people, today the Hon. Premier Ntombela is officially opening a new home for the Lintoe family from Mangaung, Phase 7, a commitment she made during her visit to the family," part of the post read.

South Africans praised the premier for helping the family with a new house.

Khotso Tsoelesa commented: "ANC that is truly love, thanks premier thanks the ANC"
Mary Wa Kgothule wrote: "Mother of the nation qe thank u very much for improving the life of our people,esp in qwaqwa o know it very well...how they are struggling and suffering, God bless you Mme."
Jingle's Jantjie added: "Wow thanks for batho batlileng ka plan Free State provincial government."

However, some accused to ANC of only campaigning ahead of the elections and not really caring about the people.

Mokoena Martha Ntswaki said: "We must hide our grandparent's IDs on the 8th of May."
Katleho Nkhatho commented: You're good at deceiving people of God, especially when you're seeking votes. Aren't you ashamed of yourselves, misusing funds, stealing money, abusing your positions??? God will definitely punish your wrongdoings in the future."
