Young bok rugby player lauded for graduating with engineering degree

- Impi Visser was honoured via the Springboks' social media account for graduating with a degree in mechanical engineering

- Visser balanced his studies while securing 7s rugby titles with the Blitzboks

- The youngster also previously won the Varsity Cup with Tuks

South African sevens rugby star, Impi Visser, was praised by the Springboks team via their Facebook page on Thursday.

The young Blitzbok graduated with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and social media users were on hand to heap praise on him.

Visser achieved the feat while playing for Tuks in the Varsity Cup and winning the title with them.

He also made his debut for the Blitzboks in 2018 and won a few titles with them along the way as well.

Visser plays as a forward and possesses the deadly combination of brawn and brains.

Some were pleasantly surprised that Impi is not a nickname.

Thokozani Paper-chaser Zwane said, “Wow Impi it's his real name.”
Vincent Watson said, “He is an up and coming loose forward and he has brains .What a combination?”
Sean O'Connor added: “Well done. Cool name too.”
Andrew Koekemoer commented, “So rugby players can actually have brains. Well done lad.”
