- The ANC have just released a brand new TV advert featuring South African president, Cyril Ramaphosa
- In the advert, Ramaphosa speaks at length about a “plan” for the country
- Many South Africans were excited by the presidents words, while others were left feeling like they’ve heard this story before
The African National Congress (ANC), has just shared their brand new TV advert which stars President Cyril Ramaphosa.
The promotional segment features Ramaphosa explaining some of the key components of the ANC’s “plan” for South Africa.
The SA president describes the plan as a “robust plan” that focuses on jobs, tertiary education funding, crime, abuse of women and children and ridding South Africa of corruption.
With the 2019 South African Elections around the corner, many parties have been rushing to gain last-minute support from citizens across the country.
While it has been shown that Ramaphosa is a popular choice for the presidency, many are still distrustful of the actual ANC party itself.
Briefly.co.za also found that a great deal of South Africans are wary of promises made just before election-time.
Citizens have accused the ANC of making promises for almost 2 decades and failing to deliver on any of them.
However, loyalty and hopefulness still abides in the hearts of many South Africans when it comes to the ANC and President Ramaphosa.
