Relebogile Mabotja lands new gig: Joins MetroFM's #FreshBreakFast

Mzansi's multi award-winning media personality, Relebogile Mabatja, bid farewell to Radio 702 on Friday and has now joined MetroFM's FreshBreakFast.

The sassy Relebogile has been in the showbiz industry since she was 16 years old. She bid farewell to her Radio 702 listeners last Friday, on her last #EarlyBrekfaston702.

Relebogile commenced her first day at MetroFM's FreshBreakFast Show this morning, Monday, 29 April. The station was proud to have her and gave her a very warm welcome on social media.

MetroFM SABC took to Twitter to welcome Relebongile this morning. They wrote: "Welcome to The Fresh Breakfast with DJ Fresh and Relebongile Mabotja."

Relebongile will present the morning breakfast show, #FreshBreakFast, alongside DJ Fresh and Angie Khumalo.

According to ZAlebs, Relebogile shared that she is excited to join the #FreshBreakFast team on MetroFM.

"I am so excited to join the Fresh Breakfast team on Metro FM. I get to combine my love for radio with my love for music, and I get to do it with DJ Fresh, someone I have looked up to for years in this space. While I enjoy being playful and fun, my more serious side will get to shine as I also take on the new role of reading the news. I welcome this new challenge with an open mind, and I look forward to growing with the team, the station, and its listeners."

Two months ago, reported that in an exciting development for the South African music industry, the South African Music Rights Organisation (SAMRO) has just appointed a new vice-chairperson, Relebogile Mabotja.

The multi-talented broadcast and radio personality will chair SAMRO in an acting capacity until a permanent chairperson is appointed. Mabotja is the youngest board member of SAMRO to date.
