It appears the EFF is not the only party who values education. Several photos were shared on Twitter which show graduates proudly supporting the ruling party.
One of the photos showed Dr Abel Mtshweni, the former ANC Tshwane region chairperson, at his graduation.
Another photo showed a smiling "Cadre Lucky", UJ APK ANCYL branch member, proudly wearing the ruling party's colours at his special day.
Briefly.co.za gathered a social media user @Eyethu_Lendlela gushed about the academic achievement of Danny Tong.
"Danny Tong studied entrepreneurship / Business at Raizcorp Learning Academy and studied Business Administration Construction Management and a Member of Anc in good standing #VoteANC #GrowSouthAfrica #MaqabaneCrushMonday," the post read.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported the Minister of Higher education and Training, Naledi Pandor, is set to be awarded a PhD in education.
The degree was conferred by the University of Pretoria, and Pandor added the decision to return to studying was "nerve-wracking".
The minister also said that she chose to study education further because she is interested in the field and its is her line of work, pointing out that she was a schoolteacher by training before entering government.
