Another fuel price hike is going to hit South Africans' pockets hard and our readers are not happy about the news.
On Monday, Briefly.co.za reported that the petrol price is set to increase by 54 cents midnight on Tuesday.
“International factors include the fact that South Africa imports both crude oil and finished products at a price set at the international level, including importation costs,” the department of energy said in a statement.
However, our readers were not happy about the expected petrol price increase and they commented their disapproval on our Facebook page.
So, we decided to take a look at some of our readers' most honest reactions to another petrol price hike.
Thabo Malapane commented: "Victor Is better vote EFF it will be OK."
Bernadette Jones added: "Just sick and tired of suffering under this government. They have brought nothing but create hardship!!!"
Bongani Sibanyoni wrote: "These people are forcing me to fix my bicycle now and attach an umbrella to it."
Bongiwe Mkhize said: "It's really sad especially if you earn peanuts and have no control in this Country."
Samuel Mabena commented: "I can say all we need to do is to unite as owners of the cars and block the free ways for while just show our dissatisfaction to the current government."
