TV personality and singer, Boity, has finally addressed the rumours about her love-life, especially those that concerned Maps Maponyane, and confirmed she couldn't be more happier single.
Social media was abuzz last week following rumours that Boity and Maps Maponyane were an item.
Some fans even believed that the two were going to be the hottest celeb couple this year, especially after Maps himself took to social media and shared a pic of whom we believed was Boity in her pyjamas.
He wrote: "This sick patient is recovering real quick Get better homie @Boity."
Maps and Nomzamo Mbatha used to call each other buddy when they were dating, so fans became rather suspicious about the post.
However, Boity ended the rumours when she spoke to East Coast Radio earlier this week. She laughed off any suggestions that she was dating Maps.
"That is so bizarre. How long have I been friends with Maps? It is so crazy," she told the radio station.
She first mocked the rumours and then confirmed that the two are not dating and she is very much happy being single.
"We are not dating. That is so silly. Maps is one of my best friends. I love him to death. I'm single. I am happily single. I am having the time of my life."
The singer's love-life has made headlines over the years, especially when she dated rapper, Cassper Nyovest. But Cassper and Boity have remained good friends despite their break-up as their friendship dates back a long time.
Yesterday, Briefly.co.za reported that Modiehi Thulo sent her daughter Boity the most touching and heartfelt message on her birthday on Sunday.
Boity is definitely reaping the rewards of being the only child, as her mom always showers her with love and attention, especially on a grand occasion such as her birthday.
