City of Joburg helps 1 500 cleaners with 50% pay raise, Mzansi reacts

Mzansi has reacted positively to the City of Joburg's initiative in the insourcing of cleaning services in the city that will see about 1 500 cleaners benefit from this programme.

The cleaners will enjoy an increase of 50% and the benefits of full-time employment. Mzansi social media users applauded the announcement.

Facebook user Mashudu Mudzielwana said:

"No more Kyalami cleaning services, thanks Mr Mashaba."

Lesetja Victor Maloka also thanked Herman Mashaba, saying:

"The relationship is indeed working to improve the lives of the ordinary citizens too."

Keenan Buys Coutriers took the opportunity to thank the DA and EFF for the successful coalition, while Facebook user Dubula Izinja took it a step further by saying:

"ANC has long stolen from them through labor brokers, No More Tenders."

It seems the people of Mzansi are current;y happy with the DA-led Johannesburg. Will this bode well for the political party in the upcoming elections?
