Prophet accused of causing a church fight, Mzansi reacts to video

A video has made waves on social media which showed members of a church fighting each other - and, the alleged reason behind the footage was even more bizarre than the footage itself.

On Monday, a video was shared on social media which showed a fight breaking out at what appeared to be a church.

The footage was shared by Twitter parody account Man's Not Barry Roux, who accused a prophet of eliciting the violent behavior.

According to the parody account, the prophet asked the church members to fight in order to get rid of evil spirits.

"Another PROPHET asked his congregation to fight each other in order to cast out demons," he captioned the video.

It was not revealed where or when the video was filmed, nor has it been confirmed if Man's Not Barry Roux's claims were true.

Letseha Phuthehang, who goes by the Twitter handle‏ @pletseha, commented: "Someone must come forward and reveal what these guys use to deceive people like this. It can't be the Bible and the power of persuasion only."
Twitter user, @John_Black_40, added: "True madness. Why are our people so easily deceived?"
Another tweep, @Kvng_Turnup, wrote: "Angel Gabriel, is the trumpet not ready yet??"
