Three months ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Nomuzi Mabena had been the subject of a 72-hour roast on social media following the revelation that her car accident, which was recorded on Instagram Live, was faked.

We all know by now that the accident was a VW Drive Dry campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of drunken drinking. Briefly.co.za learnt in a media statement Nomuzi confirmed it as a publicity stunt. The campaign was poorly received by people of Mzansi who were genuinely concerned about the rapper’s well-being.

Disbelief turned to anger as #RoastNomuzi trended for hours over the weekend, with various insults hurled at Moozlie.
