Taxi driver, who returned lost wallet with R1000, gets paid R20

Honesty is a virtue but some people find it very hard to possess the quality. It is a thing to be praised especially when it comes from people who do not stand a lot to lose for doing the wrong things.

In recent times, quite a number of people have resorted to doing odd but honest jobs to make a living. Sometimes on the job, they face challenging situations.

A taxi driver identified as That Uber guy (@uber_that) on Twitter has taken to the site to share his experience with whom he called an ungrateful customer.

According to the driver, a lady forgot a purse containing about R1000 and an international passport in his car. He drove back to her house to return her belongings only to be given a R20 tip.

This did not go down well with the driver as he labelled the lady an ungrateful person. See his tweet below:

A number of people felt he was being entitled and he should have done the good deed without expecting a reward while others felt the customer was indeed ungrateful and stingy.
