Generations: Mazwai and Smanga are oblivious to Jack's troublesome ways

With Mazwai and Gadaffi close on his tracks, Jack had to think fast to ensure his secret was not revealed in last night's episode of Generations: The Legacy. The VOTE staff, including Smanga, were horrified at what was in the package that was delivered at the office. Jack was a little concerned when Gadaffi and Mazwai's investigation led to them closer to finding out who the blackmailer is. So, to cover his tracks, he paid his daughter Sphe a visit to say that he is closing in on the blackmailer and needed Mazwai and Gadaffi to back down and let him handle it. Sphe, obviously desperate and thinking her father would handle it, ordered Mazwai to back down.

Little did Sphe know that it's her father who is actually blackmailing her. Mazwai came very close in suggesting that maybe Jack was only helping Sphe to get back into her good books. 10 points for Mazwai, but unfortunately Sphe didnt think so and said she knew what she was doing and wouldn't let Jack close to her or her family, especially her daughter, Rori.

Meanwhile, Mazwai decided to take things into his own hands, as Sphe's husband and protector of his family. He asks the blackmailer for details on where the money needed to be dropped off.

Meanwhile, either Ndumiso or Jack is playing really dirty and takes his smear campaign against Smanga to a new level. Suggestions that Smanga is a devil-worshipper hit social media, and now people are thinking that the rumours are true.

VOTE staff, including Smanga, were horrified to find out what was inside a package that was delivered to the office - it was a dead rat and a note to say they know Smanga is a devil-worshipper. Later that evening, things got even worse for Smanga. As he was exiting the building through the parking lot, an unknown man held him at gun-point, threatening to kill him if he didn't admit he was part of the Iluminati and a devil-worshipper. Luckily a security guard saw what was happening and came to Smanga's rescue.

Smanga was pretty shaken up and decided to get an unlicensed firearm to protect himself, but Nkaba said that if news got out that as a politician, he was carrying an unlicensed weapon, that would cause heaps more problems for Smanga's political campaign. But Smanga decided to take his chances for his own safety.

Viewers were really shocked at this twist in the storyline and never expected it. Here are some of their comments:

Meanwhile, with Smanga's attention more on the elections, Tshidi is putting in all she has to hopefully raise a few eyebrows, and secure a promotion to take over Ezweni Inc.

Lucy on the other hand, ended up in the interrogation seat after Detective Pele vowed to get to the bottom of how Wandi escaped. He believes he had help. But lucky for Lucy, she doesnt know much and tells him the truth, he has nothing on her to question her any more.
