Oprah Winfrey has generously splurged on a beautiful wedding gown for one of her former students from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in South Africa.
It's every woman's dream to have a beautiful wedding dress for her special day, and what better way to have a designer gown gifted to you. Oprah’s former student from the Oprah Winfrey Leadership Academy in South Africa’s, who goes by the name @Glor_r on Instagram, had her dreams come true recently.
The young woman is set to walk down the aisle soon and in order to do so, she had to find the perfect dress. Oprah generously offered to buy one for her.
Oprah took to Instagram to post a picture of her and the student shopping for her perfect wedding dress. She wrote: "I’ve known these girls since they were 12 and 13 coming to my school. Graduating from college. Grad school. Now our first wedding. Looking for the perfect dress. #biglifemoment❣️"
According to The Daily Sun, the former talk-show host shut down Saks Beverly Hills bridal store in California so that the former student, her friends and Oprah could pick out the perfect dress.
It is believed Oprah spent $10 000, which is equivalent to R142 800 at the current exchange rate, on the extravagant wedding dress.
