Taxi catches fire: "Instead of helping, they are busy filming. Sies"

A video of a burning taxi has been trending on social media today. Many anxious public transport users have been wondering what happened and no one has any answers - yet.

In the footage, the driver of the taxi is seen extinguishing the flames while commuters shout: “We almost died.” Fortunately, no one was harmed.

Social media users took to Twitter to vent their frustrations about the dangers of the public transport industry in South Africa.

Lekgarebe La Mosione made a notable observation by saying that many of the commuters were too busy filming the incident instead of helping the driver put out the fire.
