Social media trolls were at it again, this time dissing Major League DJz for taking the Minister of Education role and taking Cassper Nyovest back to school, in the new music video for their single, Skhaftin.
Mzansi hip-hop band, Major League DJz dropped their new visuals for their single, Skhaftin, featuring Cassper Nyovest and Focalistic earlier this week. The video shows the stars in school uniform while cheering to music and showing off some lit dance moves.
But the video caught the attention of some social media trolls who were only to happy to drag the unsuspecting Mufasa for dressing in school uniform.
While some said it was too tight, other laughed at how the music video got him stepping back into school again. The troll made a big deal out of this because Cassper dropped out of school to pursue his music career which is going more brilliantly than he had expected.
Tweeps threw around comments like “They took Cassper back to school” and “Major League DJz for Minsters of Education”.
Take a look at some of the tweets below.
Luckily, Cassper no longer cares about his silly trolls. He recently revealed that he used to take what people said on social media to heart, that he became so depressed.
“Depression is killing our ppl. And I believe it starts with these social media pressures. Social media will make you feel like you ain’t doing anything when you really are. Life shouldn’t be based on what the next person is doing,” said Cassper.
Meanwhile, yesterday, Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi rapper and producer, Cassper Noyvest scored an impressive nomination at the upcoming Net Honours in Nigeria, boosting his international recognition massively.
The award show recognises the phenomenal efforts of people across all industries in Africa. The #NetHonours show is the Nigerian version of the People’s Choice awards, a media-led show that represents the views of the people. By the looks of things, including his nomination, Cassper has a big influence in Nigeria.
Cassper is nominated in the 'Most Popular African Celebrity' award category alongside Sarkodie and Juliet from Ghana, Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania and Victoria Kimani from Kenya.
