Willard Katsande admits the pain he feels as Kaizer Chiefs supporters mock the position of their team on the Absa Premiership log.

The Amakhosi find themselves in unfamiliar territory in seventh spot and run the risk of missing out on qualification into the MTN8 competition for next season.

Their woes on the pitch have been compounded off of it with some fans even referring to them as “7de Laan.”

However, the Chiefs midfielder feels that his team will still have the last laugh as reported by TimesLIVE.

The 33-year-old will also represent Zimbabwe at the Afcon in Egypt later this year.

Katsande said, “You know you hear people making fun of us and it is very painful because Kaizer Chiefs is a big team to be stuck in the same place on the league table for so long.”

Katsande will be banking on the fact that one more victory would go a long way to securing their entry into the MTN8 cup for next season.

They face a tough task on Saturday against Free State Stars, who are battling relegation.
