Former President Jacob Zuma and Ace Magashule have teamed up to campaign for the ANC in KwaZulu-Natal today. The pair handed over a home to a 'beloved' veteran, Baba Ndalwane.
Early this morning, ANC Secretary-General Ace Magashule revealed that he would be teaming up with former president Jacob Zuma to campaign for the party.
In his post, Magashule mentioned that he would be touring the eThekwini region in Kwa-Zulu Natal with Zuma today.
The pair had been joined by Njabulo Nzuza to hand a new home over to an elderly and 'beloved' veteran, Baba Ndalwane in Lamontville.
Photos of the occasion were shared by the Secretary-General, with Zuma taking centre-stage at the event.
Briefly.co.za reported earlier today that President Cyril Ramaphosa had denied Magashule's claims that his phone had been bugged. Ramaphosa had claimed that the SG had responded in 'anger and concern' to the incident, but had rubbished the notion that he was being spied on.
In other news, former president Jacob Zuma's corruption trial is set to begin soon, with his lawyers arguing that the NPA will prevent any chances he has of enjoying a fair trial.
