Mzansi speaks out on Caster Semenya: “God made her like this” shared the surprising news that Caster Semenya hinted at an early retirement following an unfavourable new ruling by the IAAF and South Africans have made their voices heard.

Her message alluded to walking away from the sport and it sent social media into meltdown as the post went viral.

This all followed a controversial new ruling by the IAAF to have DSD athletes, such as Semenya, take testosterone suppressants.

Semenya competed in the 800m race as part of the Diamond League in Doha on Friday.

The Olympic champion continued her domination of the sport as she racked up her 30th consecutive victory.

Sadly, due to her failed lawsuit against the IAAF, the race may have been Semenya’s last.

Hundreds of social media users reacted to the news shared by, but not everyone was on the same page.

Serogole Maleka said, “Developed countries never wanted African counties to succeed y do they have to do this God made her to be like this.”
Tmarve Tshiamo Matlou added, “True bro if she was a European they were going to say she is a super natural women.”
Thuli Ncwane commented, “What a sad thing this is so wrong, u make us proud u never disappoint.”

However, some people felt that her increased testosterone gives her an unfair advantage.

Stephnee Marshall said, “Senseless argument, this is a man. Why does she not just do what is Right. I wouldn't want to compete with any man it is just not fair to the other women. Always turning everything to race.”
Arnold Coetzee commented, “MD Chabalala, no its not ,but most South Africans if things dont go their way they do the racial thing ,this is about a person with all the male testosterone and body competing against woman ,like someone else said she want to compete against woman but by night she is the man of the house married to a beautiful lady.”
Neo Sellwe said, “Thank you i followed this case closely and I feel fairness is a difficult thing for most of the people otherwise they'd rather throw in the victim card ya black or African or feminism, but guys just fairness is necessary i support Caster and will always do but what bout those ladies competing against her? Is it fair to them?”
Maria Mofokeng said, “Don't quit....they will think they have won....just take the medication and show them that this is in you it's your God given talent.”
