Celeb couple, Lexi Van and Mandla Hlatshwayo, welcomed their first bundle of joy just a few weeks ago and momma bear is feeling the motherhood struggle.

The beautiful reality TV star made an effort to maintain her gym routine and healthy lifestyle through her pregnancy, but she has realised now that nothing would have been able to prepare her for what she is currently facing.

Briefly.co.za learnt that Lexi is experiencing the truth of motherhood; it’s not all rainbows and cute smiles. There is no one or thing that can fully prepare you for motherhood, but motherhood itself.

Taking to social media, Lexi shared an on-point comparison picture that showed the truth about becoming a mother. Sharing a picture of herself before and after pregnancy, Lexi stated that becoming a mother is not as glam as it looks.

Lexi said that she now has ‘leaking boobs’ and could not care less about what she looks like, whereas back then, she was all about that slay life. She went on to remind new moms that they are only human and it is okay to feel confused, mess up and look like a complete mess.
