A woman has taken to social media to share a sad situation of how her construction company has to retrench loyal employees due to financial constraints.
Twitter user Xalati took to the social network to share how her construction company, owned by her and her father, was forced to retrench employees after a poor financial year.
"It really breaks my heart because most of them have been with us since the establishment of our company in 2009."
The company is an NHBRC registered entity which builds structures from the ground up. This year marks 10 years of experience in the industry.
Social media users were filled with kind messages for the woman. Harry Alan said:
"Wow, this is so beautiful. There is time for everything, when business improves you will call them back. I hope you find customers here as well."
Twitter user Yanga also said:
"Let's hope the market uncertainty will subside after the elections. Praying for more contracts awarded to your company. You guys build beautiful houses!"
"This is heartbreaking. I know that the construction industry is going through the most and even the big players in the industry are struggling, a lot of them filed/ in the process to file for liquidation. I hope the industry will recover in time and your company survives this."
