A young woman was driving in close proximity to the Krugersdorp highway when she became the victim of a smash-and-grab burglary.
The two criminals fled the scene and a taxi driver, by the name of Richard Kwena, witnessed the incident.
Kwena immediately stopped his vehicle and offered to assist the damsel in distress.
He offered her his phone to contact for assistance and stayed by her side until help arrived.
The woman and her family were so grateful that her sister took to Facebook to share the news via social media.
Marianke Saayman shared the story and even promoted Kwena’s transport business in the same breath.
Briefly.co.za gathered that the post touched many a South African as thousands liked the news.
It even attracted a whopping 1 400 comments as people heaped praise on the Good Samaritan.
