A video caused quite a stir on Monday after it was shared via social media.
It showed two men throwing papers into an IEC ballot box and shaking the box thereafter.
The post was shared by twitter user, @AdvBarryRoux, with the caption: “What’s happening here?”
Briefly.co.za noted that the post quickly went viral as hundreds reacted to it within a few hours.
Many tweeps were critical of the men and deemed it to be a prime example of vote rigging.
Fingers were pointed in all directions, especially at the ruling party.
However, others pointed out that the IEC officials are merely placing special ballots into the box as part of the process they follow.
