Cassper Nyovest took to social media to share an old image from years ago when he first performed in front of an audience of 20 people. It was his way of inspiring and being grateful of what he has achieved thus far.
The rapper made reference to when he used to perform for a lot less people at most 20 and how he has grown from that to performing for 68 000 fans. When the Move for You singer’s fan base increased, he started a tradition to pull off annual concerts where he easily fills up stadiums as a individual performer. It’s been a real success for him.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the pic was intended to prove to others that you can start off small in life until you make it big, and all it really takes is perseverance and drive. Cassper shared the message below on his Instagram.
He wrote: "My first one man show only had 20 people but those 20 people came to see me so I told myself that if I impress them, they will definitely go tell 1 friend and my next show will have 40 poeple. We kept on repeating the same formula till we had 68 000 people at soccer city stadium. #KeepGoing."
