South African social media users were left in stitches after a video of road workers struggling to figure out a stop-go sign emerged.

In the footage, the workers struggle to get the sign to face the right way up for a good minutes much to the amusement of onlookers.

Eventually they manage to correctly position the sign, but after a few hearty laughs from the people filming the incident.

Mzansi social media users were equally amused, with Facebook user Booza Nuz saying:

"I blame judge Zondo for legalizing weed"

While Ashley Craig Solomon said:
