Elections 2019: 4 Promises made by the EFF's election manifesto

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) has vowed in its election manifesto to keep their promise of land expropriation without compensation. This is among a few other promises Malema's fighters have made to potential voters. Briefly.co.za has put together four promises the EFF has made in their manifesto.

1. Land for all

The party has promised to "bring back the land" in the form of access to land for residential, industrial, cultural, religious and recreational use.

2. Double social grants

The EFF has claimed to be able to double social grants in order to reduce poverty and boost the economy.

3. Clamp down on corruption

The EFF would like to transform the National Prosecutions Authority (NPA) into a Chapter 9 institution so it may be held accountable to Parliament. This would assist in dealing with corruption.

4. Free education

The EFF said it would cancel all student debt and re-integrate all students who were financially excluded. They promised to award diplomas and degrees to all students who met the passing requirements but were denied their qualifications due to outstanding fees.
