Somizi shares video to encourage SA citizens to cast their votes today

Media personality, Somizi, took to social media early this morning, all dressed up and ready to cast his vote in the 2019 South African national elections. He shared a video to encourage others to do the same.

The SA celeb said that South Africa is a beautiful place and we are blessed to be in a country where we are free to vote for whomever we want to vote for without any glitches, fighting or tension.

Somizi also encouraged everyone to go out and make their mark, that 'X' or cross on the ballots papers to select their choice of leadership for the country. He said it's very important as it gives us a choice, and requested people to respect each other's choices and not take this personally.

"Make sure you think about it thoroughly and cast your vote. This is our beautiful country and let's just respect each other and each other's choices. 2019 elections. South Africa belongs to all who live in it. Amandla!"

A few days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Somizi Mhlongo, well-loved media personality, recently shared a sweet moment that he had with his daughter.

The SA celeb posted a screen-shot of a message from his daughter asking to take Somizi and his partner, Mohale, out to the arcade.

Somizi then explained that he had offered his credit card as a gift to his daughter, so that she could get whatever she needed or wanted, but instead, she chose to ask her dad and Mohale to come with her on an outing.
