Good-bye ANC, hello EFF! A few elderly South Africans cast their votes for the red berets in the hopes that the party will govern the nation and restore the 'dignity of the black child'.
The Economic Freedom Fighters have the support of these gogos, who have bid the ANC farewell in the hopes of a brighter future under the leadership of Julius Malema.
In a clip posted to the official page of the party, one woman sends her blessings to the leader of the EFF while outside f a voting station.
According to the party, the elders hope that the country will have a change in leadership:
"Their wish is for the EFF to govern and restore the dignity of the black child. They have hope in the vibrant and innovative leadership of the EFF."

The party seemed to enjoy the support of South Africans, both young and old, sharing photos of voters in the line to cast their ballots, donning the EFF's signature red.
Ausi Mankga supported the EFF with her vote, saying that she has chosen to stand behind the party who doesn't only remember citizens when election time comes around.
